Teri and I have everything we need.  Most importantly, we have our family.  But not all kids have their family.

Elevating Connections is a non-profit that builds connections between siblings in foster care who are separated from each other.

We love the mission, and are asking that, in lieu of gifts, that you consider donating to Elevating Connections.

The ceremony is at 4:00 pm, but all guests are invited to arrive early (after 3:45 pm) to start the night off with a refreshing summer cocktail.

Immediately after the ceremony, we will toast our families of blood and those of choice, and enjoy some good music, cocktails and appetizers on the beautiful terrace.  Around 5:00 pm, we will progress upstairs to the Marshall Room for dinner.

Dinner will start with Forepaugh's House Salad for all, but with our intimate ceremony of close friends and family, we are excited to offer everybody their own choice from Forepaugh's spectacular menu.  If you need to make changes, please contact Teri or Jim directly.

Since Forepaugh's has some great desserts, we will forgo the traditional cake.  I think Teri was avoiding getting frosting on her dress.  But, be prepared after dinner with your words of wisdom and advice, your favorite Irish toast, or your heartfelt words of encouragement.

To round off the dinner, you will have your choice of red (grenache/syrah/merlot blend) or white (pinot grigio) wine, or beer or soda off of the menu.

What Should I Wear?

To be honest, we don't really care.  However, since it is a common question, please join us in summer business casual.  The ceremony will be outside, so feel free to take that into account. There will be ties and jackets, but please feel free to dress to the nines, or leave the jacket in the car.
